More and more cafés, bars, restaurants and shops are welcoming our four-legged friends with open arms. So don’t leave your furry friend at home when you go out; Sale has plenty of dog-friendly spots that enable your pooch to join you for food, a coffee, or something a little stronger.

Here’s our guide to the best dog-friendly places in Sale.

🐾 Blanchflower Sale

As the owners are proud dog owners themselves (hi Tilly! 👋), Blanchflower is 100 per cent dog-friendly. The staff at Blanchflower are more than happy to see your beloved pets, and we’re pretty sure that your dog will be happy there, too.

🐾 Dutch Courage

One of the best independent bars in Sale, Dutch Courage is a regular haunt for a weekend cocktail or two. And they recently announced that they are now dog-friendly!

Service is good and the cocktails are well-shaken. Not sure your pooch is interested in either of those things, but the staff are very welcoming to your four-legged friends too!

📍 Dutch Courage, 19C School Road, Sale M33 7XX

🐾 Hops & Boogie

Is your dog very particular about the music it listens to? Hops & Boogie is too, so you’ll be in good company!

The popular bottle shop and record store in Stanley Square is the perfect spot for you and your dog to hang out, browse some vinyl and pick out a cold brew to take home.

Opened in 2023, Pray Tell in Stanley Square serves up good drinks and a cool vibe. It also welcomes your four-legged friends (as long as they are well-behaved, of course!)

The Bridge Inn is dog-friendly, spacious and welcoming for four-legged friends. It’s very popular with dog owners, due to its location right next to The Bridgewater Canal – it makes an ideal rest point when walking, rowing or cycling.

US Four is a great place to enjoy a drink with friends; the atmosphere is always pretty chilled and dogs are always welcome, with staff making them feel right at home with the occasional treat.
