Sale’s first ‘Made in M33’ pop-up shop promises a mix of makers, bakers, artists and creatives
The first ‘Made in M33’ pop-up shop springs into action in Sale later this month.
The first ‘Made in M33’ pop-up shopping event takes place on 22nd April
It’s a special shopping event made up of makers who have travelled just minutes to showcase their handmade products.
Brought to life by Firestone Events, Made in M33 puts the spotlight on a range of Sale-based bakers, creatives, makers, artists and more. It is the perfect opportunity to shop locally and support small businesses.
Taking place on Saturday 22 April at Hiya in Market Walk in Stanley Square, the Made in M33 event runs from 10am to 4pm and will feature 18 talented M33-based makers.
Some of the M33-based makers announced so far include Yarny Gifts, Knot Clever (both pictured below), Little Yu Handmade and Black Raven Florist.
Firestone Events founder, Mark Geary says "Supporting our local makers has never been more important. We thought navigating the Covid crisis was tough, but this year so many small businesses are under increasing pressure with costs soaring. Creating affordable and accessible spaces for our local makers to connect with local shoppers is the main reason we have launched the Made In M33 Popup Shop and Hiya is the perfect space.
"We cannot wait to bring together our local makers and welcome our local shoppers. Supporting local makers not only helps them with sales but it also validates their dreams and vision. Shop local and support small business is more than just a hashtag, it's a choice. Every penny spent with our local makers and our small businesses matters. For many, it really is a case of ‘use them or lose them’."
