🎃 Halloween at The Royal Tearoom

Throughout October, The Royle Tearoom is hosting a series of autumn events including ‘paint a pumpkin pot’ and a spooky trail around Sale Moor village.

To take part in the spooky trail, simply pick up a map from The Royle Tearoom, find all the clues hiding around the village and post the map back at the tearoom. A lucky winner will win a prize drawn on Halloween!


Halloween Pumpkins

🎃 Halloween Pumpkin Workshop
🗓️ Thursday 17 October 10.30am-12.30pm
🎟️ £3 per person
📍 Sale Library, Waterside M33 7ZF

Make simple, fun hand-sewn pumpkins with artist Caroline Coates. Pick from a large range of autumnal colours and patterns to create your own Halloween pumpkin. Suitable for beginners. All materials are included.

🚂 Walton Park ‘ghost’ train rides 
📆 Saturday 26 October from 4pm-8pm (fairground from 1pm)

On Saturday 26 October, Walton Park’s usual railway will enjoy a Halloween makeover thanks to Friends of Walton Park and the Sale Area Model Engineering Society. 

The ghost train runs from 4pm and is suitable for young children. A bouncy castle and refreshments will also be available. Don’t forget to take a torch!

Pick up your Haunted Hotel trail map and activity sheet from Bean and Brush Art cafe and begin your search. Complete your sheet and collect your Halloween treat from Bean and Brush Cafe!

Junk Monster Modelling

🎟️ This is a FREE event, but you must reserve a space.

Create and make the scariest monster you can at this junk monster modelling workshop from Our Kids Social!

Suitable for children 4+

This event is part of Spooky Saturday in Stanley Square, which includes a Halloween bubble show at 3pm and a 'fantastical fire show' at 4pm.

Plus, Stutter & Twitch will host DJs, playing music across the Square.
