Sale shortlisted for ‘Foodie Neighbourhood of the Year’ Award at MFDF 2024

Sale has been shortlisted for the prestigious ‘Foodie Neighbourhood of the Year’ award in the Manchester Food and Drink Festival (MFDF) Awards 2024.

This is the third consecutive year the town has received a nomination, though it has sadly yet to secure the title.

The shortlist, compiled by a panel of respected food critics and experts, celebrates the region’s most exciting culinary destinations. Despite Sale's vibrant food scene, which includes a range of popular restaurants, bars and coffee shops, no individual venues from the town received nominations in other categories this year.

Both Grapefruit Coffee and Cork of the North in Sale went home with awards at the 2023 awards.

Residents and fans can cast their votes until midnight on 10 January 2025. Winners will be announced at a ceremony at New Century in Manchester city centre on Monday, 27 January 2025.
