SUD Pasta celebrates first anniversary at Sale restaurant

One of Sale’s newest food hotspots has celebrated its first birthday.

SUD Pasta in Stanley Square in Sale town centre opened in 2022 and has been serving up its mega-popular southern Italian pasta dishes ever since. Co-owned by brothers Michael and Alex de Martiis, the restaurant recently changed its name from Sugo Pasta Kitchen, following a few legal wranglings with another restaurant.

Tony Candon, manager at Sud Pasta in Sale, said via Instagram "There’s been huge regeneration in Sale over the past year, with ourselves being part of it. It’s lovely, lots of families, very friendly and lots of places to choose from now.”

Sud Pasta currently has a couple of exclusive Sale-only offers available to diners, to encourage more customers to venture into its Stanley Square restaurant. These are:

  • Get a glass of Primitivo with every plate of pasta 🍷

  • Kids eat free on Sundays (terms and conditions apply) 🍝

When it was announced that SUD would be opening in M33, anticipation was high. It’s safe to say that it has delivered and is most definitely one of Sale’s best restaurants right now.
