‘Pride on the Plaza’ - A host of family-friendly events and activities
Pride on the Plaza is an opportunity for young people and families to come together at the plaza outside Waterside and Sale Town Hall on Saturday 20 May, the closing day of Pride in Trafford.
Presented in partnership with Sale pizzeria Mano a Bocca, Trafford Libraries and Waterside Arts, Pride on the Plaza is a free outdoor celebration on Waterside Plaza, with outdoor performers and family-friendly activities, including:

Take part in fun, creative activities from colourful arts and crafts to an interactive storytime with our Curious Artists.
Compact Disco

Sale Town Centre and Waterside Plaza
Compact Disco brings the joy of the party to your doorstep – a travelling, massive disco ball made out of discarded CDs with a personalised playlist and exuberant performers.
The disco acts as a catalyst for relaxation and joyful celebration whilst retaining a sense of glorious innocent nostalgia for the traditional disco in all guises.
Expect banging LGBTQI+ anthems and get your glitter on to come and have a boogie on the streets!

Waterside Plaza, Sale
Under the direction of performer/designer Eleni Edipidi, Levantes Dance Theatre creates contemporary circus performances.
Dressed to impress, with matching headgear and costumes, a delightful pair perform dance and acrobatics above a tastefully laid tea table and mingle with the crowd for selfies and a cuppa. Expect glittery cakes, outrageous costumes and theatrical high jinx in an explosion of bright colour and silliness.
